I want to do a couple vintage bike heads and cylinders. Do you mask off the bores and domes on the head? Work around? I probably should have blasted before the bores but it's what I have to work with. I have access to 2 blasters one with an aggressive media and one with a more mild abrasive and pressure.
thanks

I would use duct tape or some kind of plug to protect a fresh cylinder bore, would not be concerned with head dome if you just stay away from the dome side. Use the fine, most non abrasive media you can. Blow out & wash cylinder/ in hot soapy water to get any embedded media out of the internals…
