I’m looking to have my crank rebuilt On my 2006 RM250 while the rest of my motor is apart , I’ve spoken with the engine builder and he recommended either Wossner or an oem rod kit ,The Wossner is about $70 bucks cheaper and I’m usually always an oem guy but just curious if anyone has any experiences with Wossner , also would it beneficial to have the crank balanced to the piston , im sure it’ll help but will I see a drastic reduction in engine vibration

Wossner makes an excellent rod... trueness is more important than balance... However, if you have the spare money or time you can change the balance factor... I wouldn’t necessarily say you will see a reduction in vibration, but rather a change in the rpm location at which the vibration will occur...

Back in the mid to late 80’s it was common to run Woosner connecting rods in our small block Chevy engines. They were known for strength - durability & were used over oem on higher rpm built engines. They are a quality built product. I now run their forged pistons on my 250 2t’s.
I have an 05-07 CR2 engine that has had the crank balanced & do notice it is smoother through the rpm vs. a non balanced one.

I put a Wossner in my RM250 over the winter as well, it’s a very nice piece just looking at it. Haven’t rode the bike yet, track still closed but have had it running a few times
