Axle help

Working on a 99 kx 250 and need to replace the axle blocks. We can’t seem to get the nut loose due to the axle spinning on the other side. Tried impact gun, lubricants, etc. any trick to it before we cut it off. Maybe it bent a little and now won’t come
Loose? Thanks.

I'm thinking vice grips or a cresent wrench could clamp onto the axle. you could use a nut slitter to just cut the axle nut off and buy a new nut from a hardware store.

I don't think he will find an axle nut at a hardware store.
I used a dremel to cut the axle between the washer and axle nut on a 99 YZ400 and replaced the axle nut and washer. I was surprised it froze up on there since the bike was less than a year old. I use a little waterproof grease on them now on all my bikes.
