Quick question for all you Austrian 450 owners. What gearing are you running and why?

I am currently running 14/52. But I’m finding that it’s making second and third a little too short. I tried a 14/51 and that didn’t feel right either.

Would love to hear what everyone else is doing and the why behind it for some advice.

Thanks all!

13/48 for MX only. Always in map 2. Almost that i want to run 13/47 but messes up wheel position.

13/49 it becomes to short on gears and the flow of riding becomes very choppy. Suspension works so so also.

If you are a rever, then 13/49 works, maybe with map 1.

But for better starts, and be able to stay in second through tight corners, 13/48 is needed.

13/50 so I can use third gear in most corners.

I run 14/53, I can put it in 3rd gear and be lazy the whole race as long as it’s not a crazy tight track.

13/49 but have heard 14/52 free's up the chassis a lot and less engine braking
