I have a stock 17 125sx and a 19 fc250 with bladder kit, I'm selling the fc250 so want to put the bladder kit on the 125. Is this a mistake or just swap springs and no worries? Thx in advance

Send me a pic and email of the FC250, looking for one...

Regarding your question, I do think it will fit, but the spring weight and valving spec of the FC would probably be stiff for the 125sx as it is a lighter bike.

Go to RaceTech website and see what it says for spring rates and compare..was the FC shock revalved?

Thx J bone I'll probably just keep the shocks as is then. The bike isn't together now but I'll send you pics from lastweek, right now I'm taking the engine out to paint the frame and do other maintenance while it's removed. If interested I'll give you a deal as is, or I can send you pics once it's completed. Text me at 561 twosevenone 2947 and I'll let you know the details if still interested. I want to try a 350 even though I have a feeling I'm going to prefer the 250.

Same shock but different spring and valving. You’d have to get both shocks revalved and swap springs. Big difference in the internal setting.

Thanks man I appreciate the help, I'll just keep as is and maybe on next service add the bladder to the 125sx as well. I honestly can't tell alot of a difference between the two, doesn't it just make it easier to service by yourself?

I think the bladder really is ease of service for me. Some people swear it smooths the action out and improves feel but I’ve honestly never noticed enough difference to add a bladder. It’s an easy up sell from the suspension shops.

I agree about the upsell, I'm only B rider so maybe just not fast enough to notice difference though

The irony is, the reservoir snd separator piston shock setup would be the easiest to service if they would just add a Schrader to charge the gas.

I didn’t notice any change in shock action with the bladder but it ran noticeably cooler.

Which makes your fluid last longer.
