While current Showa KYB and WP use 50mm shock bodies, the ID and length of the springs differ. Showa being the largest in ID will be too loose and end up rubbing the body if you put one on a KYB shock without a reducer. A KYB or WP will not fit onto the preload collar of the Showa. You can use a KYB spring on the pre '16 WP shock but not sure if they fit the '16+ correctly as I've never tried. So no. yes, sort of
Always best to use OEM spec parts for the application, but it will work.
