I have a fork seal leak right now and I'm looking to replace my fork seals, bushings, and oil myself instead of sending them out. I've rebuild KYB and WP forks and have most of the tools, I was wondering if any one has done this themselves? Are there any special tools that I would need? Can I service the fork without taking apart the inner cartridge?

Yes, they are like any fork. Just loosen the bottom bolt and pull the outer stuff apart as any other fork.

Where did you guys get your parts from? I was going to use Pro Pilot. Are you using SKF seals? I replaced the Ohlins seals with SKF last service but they didn't last long.

Bottom bolt on drop in cartridge kit is reverse threads. The double lip SKF seals are more durable than the single lip. Best Ohlins prices at mitchsmotorcycles dot com
