Anyone ever coat there own clutch cover?

Just as the title says. I'm wondering if cerotoke coating is something doable or any other ideas!

I Cerakoted the ignition cover on my TE 250. It has wore off. The first picture is after I first coated it and the second picture is after about 4 rides.

I do my own with powdercoat at home, I bought a powder setup from eastwood and a cheap little toaster oven...I know its not cerakote but cant beat powder coating for a clutch cover....

coating always looks awful in a hurry, i strep oem covers and hand finish them with red scotch brite pads.

I had a gun shop cerakote a clutch cover and it held up pretty good.
only cost about $30.
