I can't figure out why the balance chamber pressure is so much lower than the OEM forks

Which forks? TAC? Try equal pressure or slightly more in the balance chamber.

Have you called PC and asked them what pressures to run? I’m curious too as to what they say as the balance spring for sure must require different pressures than the tac fork. Thanks have no idea which way to go with it though.

Yes a kit TAC forks. I'm running 175 inner and 135 ballance chamber and it still is really scary wanting to knife under in turns.

Does anybody know if maybe there's a problem with the oil volume in the air side will it affect the pressure you need in the balance chamber?

Not sure what brand a-kit you are running but I believe pro circuit runs both the honda internal balance chamber in conjunction with the external chamber you see on the outside of the fork. This increases the volume of your balance chamber and reduces the volume of your inner chamber. Its more complicated than this but to keep it simple- Changing the volume of an air chamber will have an affect on what PSI you need to run. I would call whoever supplied the forks and just ask; its the only way you will be confident that you're in the right ballpark.

I would think it would be the same as any air fork, balance chamber should be equal or slightly higher than the main chamber. Every air fork I know of utilizes this setup, showa tac, wp aer cone valve, standard aer48 balance chamber can’t be set manually but there is an internal air bypass that balances out both chambers to equal pressure
