'95 YZ250 long rod question- power valve cover

So I'm working on a '95 YZ250 resto. It's a long rod motor. On the power valve linkage cover; what
is the cool-guy way to seal it at the bottom? Since now there is a gap due to the cylinder spacer.
RTV? Do you stack another OEM gasket in there and trim it some? What was the hot set up
for this back in the day?

Pretty sure you used the 88 yz250, gasket cover. If you look around enough, google, you should be able to find the part numbers for all of the long rod kit parts

Thank you, I'll look around. But a quick look at parts diagrams shows the '88 and '95 using the same
part #. I would think a thicker one would be a different part number but I'll follow up.

ok my understanding is they also used the power valve rod And cover from the 88 that was longer. actual gasket may be the same.
