250 rmz fault

Hi I recently bought a 250 Suzuki 4 stroke but when idling it cuts out and when get it going it cuts out when breaking. I'm a complete novice. Was told had a full rebuild 2hours ago??

Is it carburetor or efi? If it’s a carb you probably just need to adjust the fuel screw, clean the carb, or adjust the jetting. Maybe the idle is too low?
