Hey guys,
I recently purchased a brand new 2021 yz250f and loaded both maps keefer recommended(free feeling/ more mid and top end) However on both maps I am getting a little bit of light backfire/popping on decel/coasting. I was told it could be a bad tank of gas so I am currently running v4 through it to try and clean it up some but I haven't had any luck. Bike has 3 hours on it and the only Mod is the twin air powerflow kit. any suggestions would be awesome!

You likely got this right, but I did not initially, so I'll throw it out there just in case:
Check your maps to ensure you edited ALL of the numbers correctly, not just the settings in the table.

Looks like that might be the issue! Never entered those values. I really appreciate it!!

Make sure your tps voltage is set to .62v at closed throttle. Theyre set lean from the factory

This is GOLD!! I

I had just entered values on the table only on my 2020 yz250f... had no idea I could or should change the values on the outside! Been running like that for a year......

I re-loaded the maps this morning (TP & Keefer FF) with the side and bottom values updated, and.... huge difference!
Bike feels WAY better, and engine is running more efficient and screaming!

Thank you!!!!

Update. Changing the values was the ticket. Bike was a night and day difference and no more backfires. Thanks guys!

Sigh... I did the same thing. Thanks for the info! Never entered those values out side the table. Jeez....
