my old mate Mog in the UK has built some fast bikes over the years, including a 40HP 2004 RM125 that ran amazing.

Recently, he helped STIC develop their settings on a KTM150, and has now done a bunch of dyno time on a TC250 and has asked me to put up the details.

Am I missing something in that thread? This is my 2018 250sx with a Pro Circuit pipe and long silencer with proper jetting and u4.4 and it turned out 51.5hp. It looks like he did all that work and ended up with less hop then stock?

All dynos show differently in raw numbers. What’s important from each individual dyno is gains and improvements in the curve.

It’s like all scales aren’t exactly identical, but so long as your using the same scale you can track your weight loss. Step on scale a, and you weigh 200 where as on scale b, your 194 in the same day and hour. You didn’t lose 6lbs instantly it’s just the differences in scale.

Same from dyno to dyno, and add in that temperature and humidity also play a role in the numbers you get from a dyno, the only relevant info is as I said the gains and changes to the curve from that particular dyno on that particular day with those particular atmospheric conditions etc.

I’m so interested to try a stic on my 2019 tm300mx. The bike has an amazing smooth delivery as is, and has an awesome mid range. If it could spread it, add part throttle response, add some bottom, and some top the engine would be unreal.

I haven’t pulled the trigger because I would be on my own I feel like to dial it in.

A properly tuned STIC will do all of those things.

Well give it a try. I would suspect the ktm 300 settings would translate well and its been well dialed in.

Its all relative to each dyno as pointed out.

Stic pwk carb and pc pipe gives 4hp gain at peak.

But thats not the story with the stic, it adds significant torque at lower throttle openings... thsts what gets you around corners, over jumps and up hills.

Where are you guys ordering from? I’d give a ktm 300 set up a try and start there.

The Tm comes with a pwk already.
