I’m 175-180 lbs. Do you think I’ll be fine with stiffer springs and stock valving or should I get a full blown revalve? I’ve put 10 hours on the bike and my only complaint handling wise so far is it’s soft and bottoms a lot. Thanks.

I bet you'd be OK with just the springs. The nice part is you can just put the springs in yourself and then play around with the clickers for a while and decide if it's good. If it's not, then you can consider a revalve. Always best to check all the cheaper options first before jumping right to the most expensive thing. You can also bump up the oil level in the forks to get some more bottoming resistance.

Stock valving is really good. Suspension shops can always fine tune it for you. But you need to give them a direction on how to make it better or what you’re not currently happy with.

Are you getting good sag numbers on stock springs?

I’ve been able to get the sag into the 105-108 range which most recommend. The free sag was in range but at the extreme for being soft. I forget what numbers I was getting.

I just picked up the same bike and weigh the same as you . I’ve been doing some reading from Keefer testing and he recommends 100mm for sag. From everything I’ve read the stock suspension on this bike is very good. I haven’t rode mine yet but if it feels soft but everything else is good ,I’m just changing the spring rates.

That’s how it’s been. I’m not good at noticing stuff but I really have no complaints yet besides being soft. I’m gonna order some springs and go from there.
