I am looking at experiencing with bar/flex changes on my 19 kx450. I have always ran the stock renthal twinwall on my Kawasakis except for a set of renthal fat bars that were on my 09 when I bought it. I liked the fat bars and they felt more solid. I am looking at going with either Renthal fat bars, Mika or Pro Taper EVO(keefer preferred) but I have no clue what each bend means. Is there a diagram that shows what each bar bend is?
Ive messed around with stock, twinwalls, and fatbar. I like the fatbar the best. The stock ones flex too much, and the twinwalls dont flex at all. Fatbars are really nice.
All of the bar mfgs have charts that show dimensions of each bend. I currently run the ktm low bend fatbar. Its really flat with little sweep and its super comfy for me.
I sometimes open up a couple of different browsers/websites, to do a side by side comparison. Or print them out and study accordingly.
On my 19 Kawi 450, I ended up going with the Xtrig 1" 1/8 PHDS bar mounts, using Pro Taper Fusion bars SX bend.
Keep in mind, if you go with the 1" 1/8 mounts, your bars will be a tad taller than your current 7/8.
