2019 Honda CRF450WE broken

A friend broke his Honda at the track this weekend. Two plastic tabs in the air box broke off and got sucked into the throttle body, which he then whiskey throttled. The plastic then went into the motor and made some knarly sounds. He shut it down and loaded up. It’s at the dealer now, waiting to see the internal damage. Has anyone heard of this happening before? His bike has 18 hours on it and has never been yard sailed.

I don’t, I’ll post pictures when he gets some, hopefully his motor isn’t toasted, it made a horrible sound 😬
