2018 crf450r mappinh switch not working

Hi I could use some help. I have 2018 crf450r has 8 hours on an recently the map switch does not let me change thru the maps. Kill switch still works. It starts flashes red then flash blue twice. But will not let me change maps. I bought a new switch an does the same thing! Tried uninstalling Hocking cpu to see if it reset. Any other ideas or anyone having g the same issue?

According to the single flash of the amber, means you have 1 DTC. When you have a DTC you cannot change maps.

After looking into a factory Honda service manual, DTC 1 indicates that engine is running normally but you may have a faulty map sensor or wiring.

Something I've noticed with my 2016: I keep the idle relatively high to help with stalling in corners. I have to turn my idle down to switch between maps, if the RPM's are too high, it won't switch.

Any idea where I would find the part for the map sensor? I tried to look on Honda part diagram an it's not very delaid

Probably going to have to get with your local dealer on that.

Not sure about other years, but on the '18, with the engine running, pull in the clutch, and hold down the map change button for 1 second.

If idle is too high you can’t change maps either.
