2018 Ktm 65 plug fouling problems

I’ve had a few problems with plugs fouling on the starting gate lately. The bike will run awesome for awhile and then all of a sudden will start fouling plugs. Plug looks fine and dry each time I remove it and starts first kick when I install a new plug. I’ve changed the pilot jet to one step leaner and have tried air screw numerous times but doesn’t seem to clear it up. I run 92 octane pump gas at 50:1 with yamalube “R” oil. Anybody else have issues with these bikes?

I learned the hard way......
CdI box, yeah its an expensive part but i chased the exact symptoms you described for a while and also on a KTM65.
I hope you arent buying the "KTM" plug for $16 each. Autoparts stores have the same plug for $3 it just comes in the NGK box intead of an orange box.

Do an ohms test on your coil, both primary and secondary sides. It could be breaking down when it gets warm.

Stop running yamalube.
Why? Yamalube 2R is made in France , smells like Motul 800, looks exactly the same as Motul 800 and burns the same smell as Motul 800 its also cheaper.

Are you in the US? The Yamalube-2R in the US looks and smells nothing like Motul 800. It's not even full-synth. It's synthetic blend.

Was having a similar problem with my boys 16, put in a jet kit and switched to 90 octane rec gas from the pump premium. I'm using amsoil dominator and haven't had an issue, might be luck idk.

Are you running Shell Nitro fuel by chance?
