Ok so I just bought this bike new and love it already but when I went to change the gearbox oil I encountered a slight problem/annoyance. The gear oil drain plug on the left side behind the shift lever (there are two drain plugs) is close to impossible to get a wrench on and is genuinely nerve racking because I feel I am not getting it tight enough and I'm afraid I will strip it out over time if I continue to use an open end wrench from an awkward angle like I have been. Anybody have this problem before? Any tips or special wrench I could buy?
My first tip was to use a ratcheting swivel head wrench. Not gonna get that on there with the other bolt next to it.
Poor design choice on KTMs side. At least for mechanics lol
