2017 yz450f fuel

Question fellas. What gas should i use for my yz 450f . I have been using Sunoco 93. I was thinking about some vp fuel. Will the different fuel make a difference in power on a stock yz 450 with a fmf 4.1 pipe?

I use sunoco 110 gas in my kx. Makes a world of difference in throttle response and overall power. Plus the benefit of having clean gas is awesome too. People will say it kills performance but my ass dyno says otherwise. If its not a financial burden then do it.

I am going from memory here...

I believe the manual calls for 95 octane fuel. This should be your minimum.

Cheapest would be 100LL Av gas.

Next would be 25/75 50/50 75/25. Recreation (no ethanol) fuel cut with VP110
https://vpracingfuels.com/product/vp-110/

Then rec fuel 25/75 / 50/50 75/25 with VP T4
https://vpracingfuels.com/product/t4/

It all depends what the octane of the Rec. fuel is to start with. It is 90 around here.

Next is VP T4 straight up, no ice.

VP T4 is a great pump gas replacement and is a bit cheaper than some of the other fuels. If you want to remap try the VP MR12, or the U4.4 fuel

All of these fuels are just a higher octane gas or some type of ethenol?

If I remember correctly T4 is ethanol free. MR12 & U4.5 are both oxygenated. I wanna say all of them are somewhere around 105 octane. Don’t know for sure tho

There’s a new version of T4 called T4E. It’s a New forumula with better performance. Direct pump replacement, no need to drain the tank or anything.

I'm betting the e in the T4e stands for ethanol based, at least that's how they labeled M109 and M109e. T4 is also oxygenated but it uses MTBE instead of ethanol. I believe T4e ethanol blended fuel is for places that have regulated the use of MTBE.
I would use the straight T4 in a stock 4-stroke, especially in a 450.

VP says there's no ethanol in T4E. They are actually working on changing the name because everyone is under that assumption, including myself. They say it's a better blend and better formula than the original T4.
