Hey everyone. So I’m upgrading my son and myself with a couple new bikes. I went to my local Kawasaki dealer and they have two 2017 kx250f left over. I’m not really up to speed with kawi so I was wondering if there’s any problems with these bikes. I just thought it was weird that the 19’s are out but they still have 2017 leftovers. The price sounds really good. They will give me them for $5200 each plus take my sons 2018 kx85 in on trade. Just seemed weird to me they still had 2017’s. Any input would be appreciated thank you

Great bikes. My 15 had 65 hours when I sold it and I had no issues. That bike saw rev limiter all the time.

are they selling them for 5200 including your trade?

That’s actually pretty common. I work at a Kawasaki dealer and we still have 17 250’s and 450’s leftover. Great bikes. Just make sure to keep the oil changed since they take such little oil, It gets contaminated quickly.

My local dealers have leftovers too. Kawis are very very solid bikes. No issues.

Awesome bikes and very reliable. I have had several. And don’t be worried of leftovers...they are usually the best deals. I just bought a new 17 leftover YZ250F for a great deal...still getting used to it after 10 years on KX250Fs. You will be very happy with those bikes.

It sounds good to me. I bought my 2005 KX250 new in 2007 for a discount.

Nothing wrong with leftovers, especially kawis. Been on them since I was 12. Kawi just does rebates on them so the dealer can get them off the floor and make room for the new model years. Think about it, if they didn't have that they would never sell because the price would be very close to the latest model year. Nothing to worry about man...if you get them you'll be very happy with them...as will your wallet hahaha.
