2017 Yamaha Motor Mounts

I heard on the pulp show that switching the motor mounts on a 14-16 YZ to the 17 YZ motor mounts it improves the handling. Anyone try this? For about $45 it may be worth trying out!

The whole is greater then the sum... I'm sure it would make 'some' difference but the motor/suspension would make up most of it...

I've heard about drilling 1/2 " holes in the head stays for 2-strokes and how that makes a world of difference.

Once I can hang on for 4 laps I'll start worrying about that stuff....

The 14- 16s were aluminum and more elaborate than the flat, steel ones that come on the 17s. Cost is probably more of a factor than anything. Plus the older ones were prone to break
