Bike would start and run fine but would just shut down. It would start right back up but then shut off. Rode it the other day for ten minutes and shut off but won’t start now. Changed small tube filter. Pump seems to be kicking on and pressuring the lines up. Whenever I break tbat connection it sprays gas out. Anybody have any idea if it could be the pump or the filter in the tank? Fi light lights up when trying to start then shuts off.

Dirty Fuel filter on pump and in fuel pump are most likely causes. It could also be a crimped fuel line at the pump.

Thanks! The tank filter is a grey to black color so was thinking it may be plugged. The hose on this filter is definitely crimped on both sides. Might start with a new filter

Faulty relay has caused similar problems as well I believe if fuel filter doesn't fix it. I would start with inline fuel filter first.

I had the same exact problem, and I got a quantum fuel pump from Slavens racing, and a filter kit put it in the bike in the bike still would not start. It was a 2017 350. If the fuel pump and filter don’t fix it get a leak down tester. I thought it was something simple, but the top end of the engine seized, due to faulty oil pump drive gear, not trying to bum you out, but it does happen on these 350s. Just trying to help you
Diagnose.
Slavens racing also sells a fuel pressure gauge that you can check your fuel pressure with on that bike it should be 48 to 52 psi approximately if the fuel pump is good! If you have low fuel pressure the fuel
Pump is starting to go out.

Appreciate the info! Going to get the fuel pump pressure tool this week and go from there. I’d be pretty upset seeing as the bike only has 30 hours. Disappointed in this being my first ktm

I thought I saw something about kinked hoses. Mine are definitely kinked. Would I need to take this to a dealer for the recall or contact ktm directly do you know?

Should be able to tell if oil pump is working pretty easily. Oil should lower in the sight glass when you start it. If it doesn't your oil pump isn't working.

At 30 hours, you consider doing a valve check and adjust, if the valve isn’t closing your bike is not gonna want to start. If you have not done one by now. They May need to be shimmed, to get them within specs.
And if you remove the valve cover you’ll be able to inspect the top end, to make sure it’s getting oil and doesn’t look burnt
