I'm riding a 2017 CRF450R. I have approximately 90 hours on the bike and haven't had any issues. That was until last weekend.
All morning the bike ran great. As intermission took place, the track received a good amount of rain. The rain stopped during the middle of intermission in time to soak into the track a little and dry up. I topped the bike off with fuel and headed out onto the track. Was half a lap in when the bike decided to bog down. I shift down from 3rd to 2nd, then 2nd to 1st. The bike then continued to bog out. After this point in time the bike would not start again.
The bike did no seize and appears to have compression. When the bike is kicked, the kill switch displays an orange light.
I removed the air filter and added a little starting fluid and the bike seemed like it wanted to start but didn't. I have since then removed the fuel pump, cleaned the fuel filter, and bench tested the pump itself. The fuel pump was just put back into the bike. No further actions were taken yet.
Any other suggestions or recommendations?

Fuel pump was removed from the tank and disassembled. Fuel filter was dirty. The fuel filter is on back order everywhere I have looked. I cleaned the filter and reassembled to see if this was the issue. Replaced the fuel pump with fresh O-rings. Added fresh gas, and the bike fired up and ran..
It ran for about three days of riding.
day 4 of riding, the track was wet, standing puddles in some sections again. Got two laps in and the bike bogged down and died once agian. After letting the bike sit on the stand for 30 minutes, it started again and idled for about 2 minutes before it faded out and died again.
I've got a new kill switch ordered and on its way to the house.
I have been trying to hunt down a fuel filter for the bike but as I mentioned above, the appear to be sold out and the back order date keeps getting pushed farther and farther back.
I've tried doing some digging to see if the 2016 crf450r fuel filter is the same. The "fuel filter kits" have different part numbers. But I'm curious if this is because the filter is different or maybe an O-ring changed.
Fuel filter kit: 2017 CRF450R = 06160-MKE-A00 - 2016 CRF450R = 06160-MEN-A50.
But I believe the filter is the same. The kits come with diffrent o-rings and 2017 kit comes with a dust seal.
Filter only:
HONDA 2011-2017 CRF250R 2011-2016 CRF450R REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTER 06160-MEN-A50
I’d disconnect the kill switch, dry all electric connections and put waterproof grease on them.
It turned out that some wires inside the loom of the starter wires broke and neither bike would run.
