2016 and older pipe fitment on 2017 + KTM /HQV 250 two strokes ?

Hi everyone. I have a 2017 TC250 with a stock pipe thats starting to look a little ratty from getting peppered with roost from those damn 4 strokes. I also have a 2015 KTM 250 SX that im gonna be selling that has a perfect FMF factory fatty on it right now. Ive been told that the pipe from my 15 will bolt up to my 17 but im skeptical and wanted to reach out to the vital brain trust before i start pipe swapping for no reason.

I don't see how it would with the redesign and different part numbers. Never heard anywhere that it would, then you have the silencer lining up too.
