Just curious what handlebars are you running on the 2016 onwards KTMs and why... I am 6 foot and run stock bars in the forward position but I think maybe higher bars (like 997) would improve my body position when standing or while in the air? I am already having problems with regripping (did not have to do it on kxf) so maybe higher bars would help there too...but am afraid I will loose corner speed with higher bars+ spending 100 bucks not knowing what will I gain is also not very tempting...

It doesn't affect my style much cause I can't corner worth a shit anyway but I know what you're saying about the short ktm bar. (protaper on the Husky is worse) I'm 6'1" and went to the RC High Fatbar in order to gain a bit of comfort and room.

I am 6' as well. I run the Pro Taper Evo bars, in the Wyndham bend.

I use the Renthal 997 on my 16 SX, for me its a big improvement over the low OEM Handlebar.

6 foot 1", using the standard bars but with the x-trig ROCS clamps which come with two settings for height, and a front, middle and back position. Went with higher bars and middle position setting.

6 foot. Run the bars in the forward clamp position. I really dig the OEM bar bend. first bike I’ve owned that I am not instantly changing the bars.

5'11" and running the Pro Taper Fuzion bars in the SX Race Bend. Similar to the stock bend but a bit straighter, i'm very happy with them. I am running the stock clamp position.

I just got the Pro Taper Windham / RM bend for my 2014 450sxf. I was having the regrip problem you are talking about and I also came off a KX450. The bend isn't that much higher then stock, but the bars are "flatter" for a better word. They rise up quick and then flatten off towards the end of the bar where the stock has a gradual rise. I've only been out one time since the swap and the re-grip problem didn't happen at all, although it was only 1 ride.

I'm a fan of Renthal's KTM High bend. I am the same height. I used to run Pro Taper CR Highs, but I like the Rental KTM Highs better as they have less sweep.

I just noticed the KTM High last week while looking at the new interactive bar sizing chart on Renthals website. It does have a lot less sweep.

996 is the black, 997 is the red.
