I was doing some bike prep for practice this past weekend and happen to see that my right side engine hanger was cracked to the bolt hole. I have read around on the forums and seen people riding 17+ CRF450s are recommending to swap to the CRF450RX engine hangers for more stability. Does the 2016 CRF450X engine hanger work with the R model? If not are there any recommendations besides OEM that people are using?

The 2016 CRF450X hanger will not work. A couple companies are making titanium variations for different flex characteristics based on various types of riding, but titanium will be a lot more expensive than the stock aluminum ones. I would just buy a stock replacement and torque it properly.
