Hey everybody!

I’ve pretty recently gotten into racing motocross and purchased a 2016.5 KTM Factory 250 on a killer deal at the beginning of this year. I had an okay first year racing but now with it being winter time where I live I want to prep my bike to make it as competitive for next year as possible.
I purchased an FMF megabomb header to finish off the exhaust for it since it came with the 4.1 slip on.
My question is this:
I have a Twin Air powerflow filter, running VP race fuel in a 50/50 mixture with premium (stuff is crazy expensive), and now this “full” exhaust kit. Will it need to be tuned? Will my dealer be able to do this or is there somewhere I can/should send my ECU?

Thanks!

Motor all stock except exhaust? What vp are you using? Check their website, good info on remaps for certain fuels and motor mods.

Yes. Motor is stock otherwise! But okay. I’ll see if they recommend a retune. Just not sure where I could get that done...

You don’t need a remap, but to take advantage of the exhaust and fuel call Twisted Development. They can map your stock Ecu. I had my full engine and mapping done by them, it was a rocket ship.

Yes you need a remap. For $100 youll get the biggest boost of power out of anything youve done. I had mine done at tokyo mods.
