I have purchased a 2012 yz450f, converted to a flattrackracer. Starting seems to take more effort than expected, both cold and hot. I have checked and raised the idle to 2100rpm, have a stock engine, full FMF exhaust and have the map at all "0" settings. /I am running 91 octane pump fuel. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Have you checked valve clearance/ valve condition? If not I’d start there... Also check your tps setting.. .58-.62 volts is the range I like to work in; with .62 volts being the ideal setting for that model...

I have not checked valves yet, along with plug. I have a GYTR Tuner, it shows tps values, can that also be a way to see the position VS. voltage?
