Looking for info on a kxf250 2011. Need to replace valves but would like to know what comes in bike originally. Titanium or steel. If titanium are oem and I change to steel will I need to change to stronger springs. Thanks in advance.

Couple things.. you cant put new valves in an old head. They come stock with titanium. If you go to steel you need stiffer springs. What i did on both of my kx’s is get the prox stainless steel valve kits that come with springs. Power loss isnt noticable and so far theyre rock solid.

Can I install new valves if I get the valve seats cut to match new valves. Machine shop job I’d imagine.
