Hoping I can get some help here for my 2011 RMZ450. I purchased it used a few years ago but I never received any of the mapping couplers from the owner. I wanted to buy them off motosport and play around with the different settings a bit. To my knowledge, the 2011 RMZ450 had two coupler options: rich and lean. And using no coupler is the normal mapping setting? Can anyone confirm that? Additionally, it seems that they've changed the coupler location for 2012+ models and I can't find any info regarding the 2011 model....below are photos of what I believe is the correct location for the couplers (behind the number plate). Does this look correct to anyone?

yes, behind the front plate on the 11. the 2 couplers are gray(richer) and white (leaner)

numbers 21 and 22, can't tell which is which from the black and white pic though

i believe thats the plug-in spot in your pic, it will only go in one of those plugs.

Correct. No coupler , stock mapping. White is lean, more aggressive. Gray rich. Coupler for hard pack.

I had an '11 and used it for years, put 100'ish hours on it. I used the white coupler all the time.

What you have circled there is not where your coupler plugs into, your coupler plugs into the white plug with the black tape around it. The white plug with the tape around it is just a cover, unplug it from that cover and plug you coupler into that plug, I can take a photo of it and show you when I get home if it will help. By the way the 12 wiring harness and 11 are exactly the same, I know because I have a 12 wiring harness on my 11.
