2010 crf 250 forks to a 2016 crf 450. Fork swap help

I just got a set of 2010 Crf 250 forks to swap over to my 2016 crf 450 ( getting rid of the PSF2). What type of bracket will I have to buy to make sure the stock 2016 brake will fit the 2010 forks? I already tried to bolt them up just to see and the rotor was hitting the back of the caliper before the axel would line up. I can about half the axel and know I could solve this problem , however if any of you have come across this problem I would appreciate any and all guidance.

I have same. I just used an oversize 270mm disk and the right adaptor bracket for a 2010. Caliper and all remained the same. You might even get away with stock disk with just the adaptor bracket, I know my mate did on his when he borrowed my forks for 6 months and used his std wheels. Ideally get the matching disk and adaptor. I have a set of showa 48mm same as yours and a kyb set. Virtually identical, both work great. So much more consistent than air.

When I did this on my 2015 I just ran a big brake adapter and was good to go.........So much better than the air forks.

Thanks , I just hit up a fellow vital member for his adapter. We will see if it works out well. If not ill buy a whole oversize kit for the 2010 and rock that.
