Just wondering what people's thoughts are on the standard suspension in a 2007 cr250
I personally think they have a ridged feel to them and slightly out of touch, maybe I have been spoiled too long with good suspension
What changes have you all done to make them any better
I have a set of shows forks from a 2010 crf250 and a shock from a 2013 Crf 450 I am thinking of putting in
Any suggestions at all
Trying to make this bike my everyday ride so I can save hours on the race bike and enjoy the 2 banga
Cheers

I sent mine to factory connection and they set it up for me. I am also running Factory connection full linkage and FC 22mm clamps (stock offset). Overall I love the way the bike handles and rides. It was a night and day difference but it was over sprung before. Don't be afraid to play with the clickers and adjustment. I run my steering stem nut a little tight on top of the bearing to help with high speed stability.

Have a set of 07 CR250r done by FC that is just as good as a set of 2010 KYB's I use to own. With a revalve & respring if needed for your weight the 07 Showas are very good once set up. Find a competent tuner in OZ that has done some R&D on the 02-07 CR / Showas.

Best suspension I've ever had was my production 06 cr 250 stuff that MB1 set up for me. Absolutely perfect. He was the factory Honda Showa guy so he has them figured out. I've have multiple sets of kit suspension to compare it with since then and none are quite as good.

Cheers guys appreciate the help
I will try another tuner have a couple on the east coast that are pretty good, would love to send it over to factory connections but cost and the possibility of it getting lost doesn't help
I did have the option to purchase a factory connection full linkage but I never did mite have to try find it again
Thanks for the help

If you're on east coast. Look at dgs suspension for woods/enduro/mx, those are good forks and very tunable.
