Hi all!
Recently bought a 2004 YZ250 and plan on bringing it back to life. The forks need replacing and I know that some of the YZF forks are a direct replacement, I’m just unsure on which years.
So can anyone tell me which year YZF forks will be a direct replacement without having to change any parts over etc?
Many thanks Smile

Stock, and tune with sub tanks if you can find them cheap. They can work well, and keep cost down. But, 06 yz250 and later should work.

Thanks for the reply, so will 2003-2005 YZF forks work as a direct replacement? I’ve tried finding YZ250 forks but can’t find any for my bike, only 99 and older Sad

I would keep the oc forks over the 05 aoss models. There were some fast mf'ers on those oc forks during that time. With the tanks and a good tune, they should be fine.
