I have an 02 CR250R that is in immaculate shape. The only thing aftermarket about the entire motor is a set of V Force 3 reeds, and a Wiseco piston and rings (stock spec). I’m having the notorious carb problems these bikes have with the stock Mikuni, and decided it’s time to switch to the Keihin PWK 38. My main question is do I want to get the regular PWK, or the air Stryker carb? My second question is what exactly is the difference between the two carbs, and lastly, where is my best option to purchase a new one? Thanks in advance
The cheapest( new) way to achieve the results you want are to buy a new OEM PWK from an 00' Honda cr250 along with the jetting to get it to work properly.

They are very good carbs, but if you choose to try and jet that mikuni, the s4 nozzle is part of the puzzle.
