2001 cr250 suspension?

Okay so I'm restoring a 01 cr250 and I've got a few pieces and things that need replaced but I've heard the cr's can have new crf parts swapped onto it. I was curious if and what year suspension could I put on it without different triple clamps or would I be better off completely redoing mine. As the upper legs are beat very bad with chips and galdges and in dire need of a rebuild.
