So i have recently started a new project which is a 2000 yz125 i got everything going and working sound then the clutch stopped working. When i took it apart i realized that the clutch hub and basket both had grooves in them so i replaced those. My clutch plates are all still good. But when i put it back together the clutch still doesn’t disengage i dont understand and its starting to frustrate me. Can anyone help??? Please.

Check your clutch arm pivot cam. If worn, or the bearing is bad, it will not give enough movement to disengage.
Also make sure you have the cable adjusted correctly.
