1996-2004 YZ125 Clutch Arm/Bearing Removal

Was trying to switch out the stock cover for a Boyesen one.

How are some of you removing the clutch arm/seal/bearing on the stock cover?

TIA

If you can’t knock it down into cover as shown in pictures you will need to pull it out with a “blind bearing puller” with small collets. Might as well get one since you can also use it for linkage bearings.

So this might be the totally wrong way to go about this, but I did this for my Windham 97 build. I drilled new holes in some vice jaws that made it where they extended out a like an inch. I was able to hold the top of the cover and bottom of the shaft with a socket on it, so when tightening it was pushing on the underside of the gear area. From there I applied some heat and tightened it slowly until the bearing came out. No damage was done to either part.
