Sealhead assembly. Honda should have them.

I ordered all OEM/NOS parts.. found the best deals by looking up the Honda part # and ordering them all separately on ebay; but I'm sure it wouldn't be much more to order them together through Rocky Mountain ATVMC, etc..

Yes, you'll need the seal head and of course fresh shock fluid... however most people typically also replace the bladder inside the reservoir, and the rear shock bumper (if needed) when doing a shock rebuild.

You'll need a shock bullet tool (or something similar) to install the new seal head.. There's plenty of good videos on YouTube on rebuilding a shock..

seal head is just 1 of the parts.

does the shaft have visible wear marks? look for a change from chrome to an aluminum color.

Is that the only thing I need?
is the bottom out bumper worn out? You can buy aftermarket ones all day long. Same with the seal head.

I will have to check e shaft. I have not taken it apart yet. The bumper did not look good so I plan to replace it too. I might as well do the bladder too.

I saw some seals listed too. I guess I do not need those? They maybe used if you are rebuilding the seal head. I just plan to buy a new seal head.

What if the rod has wear? What are the odds of that?
