1987 CR125 Ignition Question

I'm in the process of a total restore on an 87 CR125. I'd like to replace the ENTIRE ignition system. Any idea if a later model CR ignition system will work? If so, what years? The problem with the 87 system is I can't find a new one, and as I said, I'd like to replace the entire thing with new stuff.

Hpi ignition based in Belgium but very helpful they do a whole kit including cdi coil etc
