Please help me out guys! My 19.5 has 12 hours on it and has developed some sort of electrical short. Long story short, rode it two weeks ago. A couple of times I went to start it and nothing happened. Turned the bars a couple of times and it was fine. Tried to ride the other day and it won’t do anything when I hit the start button no matter what I try.

Anyone have an experience like this? This is my first husky and it’s driving me nuts. I’ve greased the electrical connections behind the front number plate and nothing.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Try disconnecting the kill switch. Also consider letting KTM/Husky fix it since its still basically brand new

Also check the battery under load. They are know to go bad quickly on new bikes.

Well it’s been located. Broken wire due to the way everything was routed from the factory I guess. Thanks for the help.

Save yourself some future trouble and go over and use some shrinking tape on each wire and its protective sleeve to not let shit in. If you really want to do it properly, apply first some silicone into the sleeve and let it dry, then apply tape.

There are multiple wires that are subject to brake ones dust and gravel start to find its way into the sleeve.
