17 fc350 too tall! Help!!!

Just picked up a 17 husky fc350 and other then the horrific head shake on acceleration bumps that I'm trying to figure out and the fact that I'm only 5'5" and need to lower it I like it. Any suggestions as to a good rear lowering link or a different route to go to get this baby a little shorter is greatly appreciated. Oh and I have the sag at 106 I believe.

Before messing with the geometry of the bike, I would start with some simpler things first. I know KTM makes a lower seat, so Husky probably does too, maybe look into that. Next is possibly a little higher footpegs, I know protaper makes pegs with interchangeable cleats that allow you to changed the heigth of the pegs.

I can reach the controls just fine it's more the ground issue I have, it's a real bitch having to keep myself up around a turn with being so far up there. As for the seat it's already pretty short but I will def look into that

Factory connection has some good solutions to lower the front and rear of the bike.

Yep. Husky makes a 20mm taller seat and a smaller seat also. It's only $125 for the complete seat. Well worth a try before you start spending mega bucks on suspension parts etc.

Might be worth trying a lighter spring also if your weight calls for it in order to let the bike settle a bit......maybe it's head shaking because it's too high in the back? So check the sag.

suspension will break in also. shock could be lowered internally if you go that far. you can shave seat foam also. if all else fails ill buy it from youWhistling great bike.
