Anybody ever have this issue? It won’t shift up or down and is stuck in one of the higher gears. The shifter moves up and down with ease but does not engage a different gear

On the older bikes that used to happen all the time prong on the shift linkage with the spring on it gets stuck back and won't engage causing the bike to get stuck in gear pretty sure there's videos on YouTube on how to file it to prevent it from sticking again

What are all the scratches on the part on the left? Does the aluminum star piece move when you shift?

Sounds like something in the tranny broke. You may have to open it up to see.

Pull off the inner clutch cover as pictured above, sometimes those star wheels can actually come loose and you won’t be able to select gears properly. I have seen it on a 2018 FC450 with low hours.

Not good looks like gear teeth, do the 350 suffer the same problems as a 250 ? take it to the dealer it's a known problem it'll be covered.

250 and 350 have different transmissions. 350 hasn't had the same issues.
