Anyone ran both? anyone have either and would like to comment on the the gains over stock? Trying to decide which one to possibly get. I know Vforce tends towards enhanced bottom/mid, while the rad tends towards top/overev, but would appreciate real world opinions. I haven't been able to find any comparisons out there or even any reviews on the RC2 Rad valve, hoping someone here is running it. Thanks

I was actually looking for this info this morning and didn't come up with anything unless you want to talk the vforce 3 and the old style rad valve on a yz125 lol. I'd like more over rev on my '18 250sx and haven't decided on what way to go.

A Pro Circuit pipe and silencer added more top end and over rev to my '17 TC250. However, I would probably get it ported before buying that setup again.

On my older CR250, the Rad valve was harder to jet than stock. On a different CR250, the Vforce was a little more responsive at lower RPMs. Neither were worth the price.

Also to note, after some light sanding reeds on my my stock reed cage sit flat and work well.

I bought the Vforce reeds for my 17 TC250 because everyone was talking about how bad the stock reed set up was on the 17 250's. I noticed no change in performance and would not buy them again. Haven't used the rad valve so I can't offer any comparison between the two.

Thanks for all the feedback!

I too added a pro circuit works pipe/silencer combo and it helped it out greatly, also went to a 49t rear sprocket and am really happy with the mods. Hopefully some reviews or something pop up for the boyesen. Anyone had motor work done to these bikes?

Just got my boysen rad valve tonight. I’ll throw it on Sunday and see if there is a difference on my 18 tc250.

Been running the RC2 for some time now, I have the VF4R too. The quality is better on the RC2, runs cleanly. Not much difference with the 3 running wise, steady tuning properties is the biggest plus.
