15+ yz85 front number plate on TTR125

Has anyone tried to fit a newer yz85 front number plate and fender on an 04ish ttr125? Just bought the wife a ttr125le for our anniversary and want to spruce it up a bit

You'll probably just have to futz with some stuff and see how to make it work. I just did the same thing one a klx140 with front plate and fender from a 17 kx85. Mine ended up easier because I switched out the entire front end for a kx 85 setup.

Thing is fun! I did the kx clamps/brake/forks, custom intake, mikuni 26mm carb and PC full exhaust.

Man, that thing is awesome! At some point id like to do that to the ttr. Did it change the feeling of the bike at all? Like sit taller in the front?

Ya, it does sit higher but not by much and I can adjust the fork height a decent amount. I have that one which is a big wheel (19, 16) and another klx 140 that is completely stock and regular wheel (17, 14) . The stock one is straight up scary to ride, the suspension is so bad. The stock one will bottom out going over a rut in sand haha.
