Does anyone know or have picture of what goes under the top clamp. I bought a used set and was told to use all the stock stuff. I can’t adjust how tight the steering is it’s just floppy.
Not a great picture but it should help. Don’t use the nut that goes under the top triple clamp. You tighten up your steering by tightening the steering stem nut. Need to make sure the pinch bolt is loose on the steering stem as well as the pinch bolts on the top triple clamp so that the top clamp can actually be tightened. Then tighten everything back up as you normally would. Hope this helps.

Besides the bearing and the dust seal is there anything else or is it just the dust seal against the top clamp? I followed the manual so it should have worked like you said.
