Any difference in frame geometry between 07 and 08 frames. Cracked my 08 at the head and want to replace it. The 07 is always $100.00 bucks or more cheeper so was thinking there might be a difference.

I think the same, 08 had the steering dampener...for what it's worth, I liked my 07 better than my 08...

Agree the 06-08 are suppose to be the same 4th gen AF. I preferred the 06 model owned over an 08 also owned.

Just checked on the parts fiche of my local Honda dealer website & got these part #'s.

06-07 AF part # 50010-MEN-A00

08 AF part # 50010-MEN-A10

More than likely due to the 08 AF having the HPSD. Also possibly having a bracket for the gear position sensor (can't recall if it had one).

07' had no HPSD mount and a different (larger) ECU behind the front plate. 2008 has one-year-only ignition that's smaller to leave clearance for damper. Shouldn't take too much to make your 08' bits work on an 07' frame! If you do the swap, please keep the thread alive and let us know how it goes...
