05 Rm 250 surge and bog off low end.

Hey all,
I’m having issues with my Rm, I was recently at a track bike was running great and when came in it started idling high with a surge, I tried to idle it down and nothing really happened from turning idle screw, took it out again yesterday and it was acting really funny trying to start cold and when it warmed up was surging at an idle and going steady down a road (never had this issue before ) also it had obtained a bog off of low end throttle.
I would appreciate any help before I tear it down.

The left and right cases can be mis matched, so you it is possible to get an air leak on the cylinder base gasket. Worth checking

Ive never had it apart and it ran fine before that day at the track , wondering if it’s dirt in the carb leaning it out ??

It sounds like maybe a left side crank seal is bad now. I don't think it's dirt in carb

Start the bike and spray carb cleaner on seal and anywhere else a leak could come from. If It's Leaking The idel Will change

The3 intake manifold could also be leaking either from the gasket or the boot having a crack.
