04 CR125 jug change to another year

I have a 2004 CR125 and I think it’s the only CR125 with the electric RC powervalve? Is there anyother year jugs I can put on to go around having the electronic powervalve? I know I would also have to switch the full wireing harness from what ever year I got. thank you

Not that I'm aware of. We specifically bought an '02 CR125 as it was the last year where you could retro the cylinder. '04 from what I know was pretty much the "bastard" year of CR125's......

Yes you can convert It to 2003 stuff. You need all the 03 PV parts cylinder head ignition etc. Im pretty sure the WP cover is the same and has the bearing for the PV shaft but if not then you need a inner CC to. You need a pipe as well.

I agree with honda4life. Your only bet is converting to 03 cyl, powervalve setup, etc. try crossing case part numbers and such to see fitment

Why? The 04 cylinder is better than 03 by far. Very similar port layout to a YZ125.
