Hi im new to the sight! I bought a 03 cr250r, the bike seems to be tuned very well! Idles good and rips hard! But my overflow tube leaks out gas when the gas is turned on unless the bike is running and throttle is open to some degree.. wjat should i check first??
Also i live at 4700 feet and average temp currently is 35-50 degrees?

Float height is too high, or there is wear/grit/damage in the float needle and seat. If it’s the stock Mikuni TMX, there’s an o-ring around the float seat that can harden/shrink. You can get a rebuild kit for the carb that includes a new needle and seat along with the o-ring.

I tried the float level fixed the leaking but started to run 2 lean so i adjusted back and bike ran better but continues to leak. So next i will order a rebuild kit and replace the oring
